For many millions of people all over the world, hair loss is a real problem. It’s not generally a dangerous or hazardous problem of course, but it is nevertheless a real problem for all of these people who suffer a dread of going bald.
There can’t be many amongst us, especially in the developed nations of the West, who do not know someone (or more likely, quite a few people) who are suffering some degree of hair loss. In fact, for most of us – even for quite a few people whose hair is fast disappearing – hair loss is not really a ‘problem’ at all, mainly because even those with thinning hair don’t notice it, nor do 90% of other people either.
Nevertheless, for a significant percentage of people who begin to see the first signs of hair loss, it does cause them a problem. After all, were this not the case, there would not be so many thriving businesses all over the world that offer to help people to ‘cure’ their hair loss problems.
Whether it is actually possible to ‘cure’ hair loss problems is a moot point because depending upon the cause of the problem, sometimes it will go away of its own accord, whereas in other cases, it is arguably possible to kill the condition with such drastic ‘treatments’ as a hair transplant.
